I love football! I prefer college over pro, but I watch both.

College football has created a friendly rivalry between my husband and me. He is a Gators fan. I'm a Tennessee Vols girl. As long as the Vols beat the Gators, I'm a happy camper.

I hope your son makes the team. My seven year old started midget league football this year...yikes! He is having fun. Watching football from a mom's perspective is exciting and tough at the same time. Go Vols!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3470814598789137396.post-85874688632297094712008-09-05T10:47:00.000-04:002008-09-05T10:47:00.000-04:00Now that was a funny post!! My youngest son, who is a senior in high school this year, got me started watching college ball a few years ago. I am now an avid fan. My favorite team is Ohio State (go bucks!) but we watch football all day Saturday at our house.

Have a great day!

DebDebhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03069975801025176656noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3470814598789137396.post-42192011149755043802008-09-05T07:29:00.000-04:002008-09-05T07:29:00.000-04:00Okay... see I could totally cheer for your son. N...Okay... see I could totally cheer for your son. Not because I like the sport of footbal but because I have a relationship with you.

When I was in college I went out with a guy that played college footbal and I love it--- because I knew the person I was cheering for.

Now that I'm old... I don't know any of those people playing.

So, I have a hard time picking a team... I always think, "I'm sure there are nice guys on both sides."

Then I just walk away from the TV shaking my head and go find my tweasers.Lysa TerKeursthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04580756193466146575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3470814598789137396.post-91036870380293099562008-09-05T05:40:00.000-04:002008-09-05T05:40:00.000-04:00Melissa we need to hang out! And when football season is over, sadness.

Wishing your son luck in his tryouts!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16147593138737484614noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3470814598789137396.post-3762995249807718572008-09-04T22:51:00.000-04:002008-09-04T22:51:00.000-04:00Girl, you are too funny! From reading your blog over the last several months, I knew you were a major football fan!

I can't say that I'm an avid sports fan - of any sport, so I'm not just bored by football. Although, in saying that, because my husband enjoys watching the games, I will sit in the same room (with my laptop) and watch the re-runs of highlights of the game. My husband was actually watching New York and Washington play tonight, and I caught glimpses of the game - in between yawns.

Hope your son makes the team! I watch any sport my son participates in!

Dusting off my pom poms, (is that what they're called?) Hope we can still be friends,
JoyJoyfulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00010498759199040612noreply@blogger.com
